Arjun Kumar Thapa

Mr. Arjun Thapa is a development professional and researcher with over seven years of experience specializing in public policy, governance, monitoring and evaluation, and inclusion economics. He has held research and program management roles across leading institutions, including the Policy Research Institute, Institute for Integrated Development Studies, The Asia Foundation, Governance Lab, Daayitwa, Helen Keller International, the Nepal Red Cross Society, and the Kathmandu University School of Arts.

Throughout his career, Arjun has collaborated closely with all three tiers of government, international development partners, and civil society organizations to drive evidence-based policy formulation and program implementation. His thematic expertise spans governance, economic development, climate resilience, public service delivery, civic engagement, and Gender Equality, Disability, and Social Inclusion (GEDSI). He holds a Master’s in Development Studies from Kathmandu University.
