Samir Sodari

Mr. Samir Sodari is a policy and development research specialist with over five years of experience leading mixed-methods studies in inclusive development, disability rights, education, and public policy. 

As a research lead for international development partners, including the World Bank, USAID, UNICEF, and FCDO, Mr. Samir manages the complete research lifecycle, from study design and field coordination to advanced data analysis and strategic reporting. His work spans Nepal, Ethiopia, Malaysia, Sub-Saharan Africa, and eight Pacific Island nations, translating field-level evidence into actionable policy and program design. 

His key project engagements include leading FCDO’s Youth-Led Problem Solving for Inclusive Education Program in Kapilvastu District, contributing to Ethiopia’s National Survey of Persons with Disabilities, supporting USAID’s Multi-Country Study on Inclusive Education, and conducting regional disability and early intervention analyses for UNICEF across Asia and the Pacific. He holds a Master’s in Development Studies from Kathmandu University.
